Mum knows best

Growing up, Cantonese classics were part of everyday life. Whipped up with the love and culinary flair of mum, these refined homemade treats were valuable learnings from her days of working in the kitchens of old-time restaurants.

Among them, yam and radish cakes grew to become personal favourites — and a growing passion to master and perfect them. Years of practice and recipe-tweaking later, to get them hitting all the desired notes,
